This book is a classic is shows the insides of slavery and how white people could power over colored. this book is about a trail of black man getting accussed of rape. This book leaves you to think was he guilty or was he not. Even his lawyer thinks he not guilty but its his word verse 12 jury and it turns out hes guilty but is it true. The cliff hanger.

Of Mice and Men: John Steinbeck
This book is a classic book that tells the story of two men George Milton and Lennie Small. Lennie was not smart and couldn't remember much. George always helped Lennie though and looked out for him. George was more of a guy who had a plan. These two stuck together no matter how bad things got. This book shows how two men had a dream of a simple life and wanted to make there dream come true.

Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston was about a girl named Janie who goes on a quest to find her place in the world and true love that is influenced by what she has seen in nature. During this quest she is ridiculed, silenced and nearly killed but all of these negative events give her fufillment in life in the end.
She does eventually find her true love but she loses him. She is not empty or at a lost without him, however, it signifies the end of her quest.
This book is very good, better than the movie ( like all books are) and I would recommend it to anyone!

To Kill a Mocking Bird, by Harper Lee.
Had to read it for school but I thought it was very entertaining.

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen. A really good book. When I read it, it was like watching the older six-hour movie all over again. Very engaging.

Little Women, by Louisa May Alcott.
A good book, I really liked how the characters matured in the book and that you could see it happening.
