I have just finished reading Revenge of the Wannabes, a Clique book by Lisi Harrison. It's about how Alicia Rovera is kicked out of the Prettty Committee by the leader/alpha Massie Block. Alicia starts her own clique-the Ultimately Pretty Committee which includes Olivia, Strawberry, Kori, and of course, Alicia herself. It's not the same as being in the Pretty Committee which she soon learns. This book is filled with friendship, heartbreak, tough times, and drama. A very good book in which I recomend.

Notes from the midnight driver
by: Jordan Sonnenblick

One night Alex Gregory made the mistake of his life to try to drive...Drunk..To his dad's girlfriend's house (which happens to be his 3rd grade teacher) He dosent even make it two houses down until he crashes into some ladys lawn gnome. And part of Alex's punishment is to watch some old guy at the Egbert P. Johnson home for the aged. but thats not the last of his problem's, His parents are divorced and he might be in love with his best friend Laurie who could kill him with one finger. But in the end he learns a lesson or two and has a few benefit concerts with two musical prodiges Steven and Annette (from drums girls and dangerous pie)
This was an amazing book and If you've read any other of Jordan Sonnenblick's book's (like me) he add's a few other things from his book's Drums girls and dangerous pie and zen and the art of mastering it.
It was a great book but to make it better I reccomend you first read Drums Girls and dangerous pie then Notes frm the midnight driver because it would make the book better because this book takes 2 or 3 years after the book Drums girls and Dangerous Pie. I reccomend this book very much to anyone who like a great story.

Drawing the Ocean, by Carolyn MacCullough.

This was a great book. It's a story about Sadie Caldwell, whose twin brother died when they were twelve years old. Now sixteen, Sadie and her family moves to a home on the Atlantic Ocean from their old home in California. She meets all kinds of different people, and she has to choose between what's normal, and what's right.

Review for Not Like You

I enjoyed this book very much because I could relate this book to my own life. This girl has an alcoholic mom. She moves a lot. And likes this boy but can't really tell him she loves him. My life is basically the same way so I enjoyed it more knowing I can relate to it.

The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini, is about a boy named Amir. He lives in Afghanistan with his father and their servants. Amir and the servants son are friends and you share many fun adventures with them until Russian forces invade. Then both boys lives change. This book was really good but sad. There's some disturbing scenes but I recommend it. 5 out of 5 stars.

J is a confused teen who was born a girl, but longs to become a boy. He has been dealing with his problem by hiding his body, but J decides it's time he took action. He runs away from home and makes new friends that help him transform into the man she wants to be.
It was kind of a strange book, but overall pretty good.

Tripping by Heather Waldorf
A girl named Rainey goes on a trip across Canada with a few other kids who qualified for this program, which is called Westex. On this trip, Rainey's life will change forever. It's full of adventure, romance, humor, drama and anything else you can think of! It was a really great summer read!

Will Grayson, Will Grayson by John Green and David Levithan

This book was really interesting and new! It's about two teenagers named Will Grayson and how they end up meeting in the most unlikely of ways and how there's lives intersect. It's a very honest book, nothing is held back and that's what makes it so good. It's interesting to read a book written by two different people because it really makes the two different characters seem like two completely different people. I also guarantee every teenager will at least relate to some part of this book.

I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a funny, rude, unique book.

After Tupac & D Foster by Jacqueline Woodson is about a girl name Desiree "D. Foster" Johnson whose mother gave her up when she was little. Since then she's gone from foster home to foster home and eventually ended up with a foster mom named Flo. While with Flo she "roams" going to different places in New York City and eventually ends up in Queens where she meets two girls Neeka and the narrator (her name is never mentioned). Together they listen to Tupac and D connects his raps with her life.

It was sort hard to understand the point of the book. I still don't really get it. I'd reccomend it to help me figure it out...

The Blue Mirror by Kathe Koja
This was about a teenage girl who's an artist and she draws everyone she sees. She meets this homeless guy and they start dating, but he's possessive and crazy. This book was interesting, but kind of dark. Some parts were hard to understand and the characters were annoying.
